Date Posted: 7/19/2020 Location: COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO
Position: Veterinary Dermatologist
Job Description:

Animal Allergy and Dermatology of Colorado is looking for a second Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Veterinary Dermatologist to join our team!

Need less itch and more wag in your life? We certainly do. That’s why we are looking for a second board certified veterinary dermatologist to join our growing team at Animal Allergy and Dermatology of Colorado (AADC). We’re a privately owned practice with a friendly, close-knit team, and well-established pet-loving client base. We have the pleasure of calling beautiful Colorado Springs with its stunning mountains our “home” while serving the community as the only board certified veterinary dermatology practice in Southern Colorado.

We Are Trusted
AADC was established as a private specialty veterinary dermatology practice in 2010 by Dr. Jackie Campbell. We have spent the last decade building relationships with an incredible network of general practice and specialty veterinarians throughout Colorado to ensure the best possible care for our patients.

We adore our patients and clients – and they love us too! We are deeply committed to our pet-loving community and have grown a large and thriving client base. We truly enjoy what we do, and believe this makes the biggest difference in how we run our practice.

We Care For Each Other
Our team is small, close-knit, and highly skilled. We have three veterinary technicians, two of which are certified, and one who holds a rare dermatology technician certification. We also have a fantastic receptionist and practice manager who ensure our practice is running efficiently and our team is taken care of. We thrive on team’s core values – working together as passionate team players that keep respect at the forefront and building relationships through open and honest communication. We believe that caring for each other as a team is equally as important as caring for our clients and patients.

Our Practice and Veterinary Campus
Our office has evolved as we continue to grow. Our new location has 4 examination rooms, a surgical suite, Storz otoscope, Aesculight surgical laser, cryosurgery equipment, pharmacy, and designated office space for each of our doctors. Our practice is technology-friendly. We run a paperless office utilizing mac-based software and take advantage of portability with laptops and ipads.

We’re conveniently located on a trusted veterinary campus called the Veterinary Specialty Center (VSC) which includes a range of boarded specialists and emergency veterinarians with whom we share a working relationship and clients, while still maintaining our own private office space.

Perhaps the best part about our office is that we are located in the heart of Colorado Springs – a highly desirable community that boasts a breathtaking mountain range, endless hiking trails, a wonderful moderate climate for all outdoor activities, and stunning views of Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods.

All That’s Missing is YOU!
We are looking for a Board-Certified Veterinary Dermatologist (DACVD). Our ideal candidate is a kind and compassionate individual who values a collaborative approach, adores their clients, patients, and team, and strives to educate the pet-loving community about pet allergies and skin issues. We are looking for a positive, adaptable, and open communicator, who is self-driven, demonstrates enthusiasm for growing a business, and embraces new ideas.

Along with a competitive base salary we are committed to a healthy work/life balance, and offer additional benefits including a MacBook work computer, continuing education, health benefits, and paid time off.

Contact Information:

Please submit resume and cover letter for strictly confidential consideration to Dr. Jackie Campbell at Dr.Campbell@animalallergycolorado.com.

Date Posted: 6/16/2020 Location: KATY, TEXAS
Position: Veterinary Dermatologist
Job Description:

Are you a boarded or board-eligible veterinary dermatologist that yearns to be their own boss? Are you interested in starting a dermatology practice but are wary of the costs and risks? Are you an established dermatology practice that is looking to expand? If the answer is “yes” to any of those questions, I have the opportunity for you.
My name is Marc Rainbow and I am a veterinary ophthalmologist. I have started multiple ophthalmology practices, all of which have advanced to thriving, profitable enterprises. My latest endeavor, Animal Eye Medical & Surgical Specialists, is located in Katy, TX, an affluent suburb of Houston. I tire of confronting derm cases with limited options for referral and I have extra space that begs to be utilized. This is the perfect combination for a successful veterinary dermatology practice.
To accomplish this goal, I am willing to organize and finance the establishment of an independent veterinary dermatology practice co-located at my Katy, TX clinic. I have the experience in solving the challenges inherent in starting a new practice. Coupled with my ophthalmology practice’s sterling reputation with local veterinarians and strong referral base, a new dermatology practice can be quickly and successfully marketed. There is no risk to you. You will receive a salary with benefits, you will dictate the daily operations of the practice, and you need not to bother with the business aspects. This is a unique opportunity to be an owner of a specialty practice essentially risk free.
Conversely, if you have no desire to own a practice, but yearn to be independent, I can accommodate you as well. I offer a highly competitive salary, plus a generous benefits package including 401K with employer matching, health, dental, professional dues, and moving allowance. The position can be full-time or part-time, your choice.
Finally, if you already have an established practice but are seeking to expand, I can offer a finished space and access to a loyal cadre of referral veterinarians to allow a smoother and more rapid introduction into the lucrative Houston market.
Houston is America’s fourth largest city boasting a growing economy with a diverse and affluent populace. The city is replete with eclectic restaurants, a vibrant night life, four major sports teams, world class shopping, low cost of living, and is adjacent to the gulf coast.

If interested in any of these scenarios, please contact me on my cell, 210-478-8232, or via e-mail (rainbowvet@yahoo.com) for further information.

Date Posted: 4/6/2020 Location: Teleconsulting
Position: Veterinary Dermatologist- Teleconsulting
Job Description:

Are you a Board-Certified Veterinary Dermatologist looking for a new opportunity and challenge? Would you enjoy working from home and having the flexibility to work from anywhere? As one of Fidu’s Veterinary Dermatology Specialists, you would be providing web-based consultations to veterinary peers across the US and Canada, and worldwide!

Why Fidu?

Fidu is an online veterinary platform designed by veterinarians, for veterinarians.

Fidu was formed with the veterinary community both in our hearts and on our minds. In the age of “Dr. Google” and emerging telehealth, we wanted to continue to support all veterinarians who are striving to provide their clients and patients with the best medical care.

Fidu creates an ecosystem where general practice veterinarians and boarded specialists can work together to provide clients and pets with greater accessibility to the highest quality of medical information, tailored to each individual case, every human and their furry friend. We’re cutting out the guesswork that comes with complex diagnoses and are bringing real care virtually to our veterinary clients’ offices and homes.

Our teleconsults are ONLY between specialists and veterinarians, allowing general practitioners to implement next steps as you recommend.

Consultant Requirements and Responsibilities:

• A current DVM/VMD license in good standing with 5 years post-residency experience and ACVD board-certification are required.
• Wi-Fi and computer/phone availability to provide email, video and telephone consultations for internal medicine cases to veterinarians.
• Each specialist is required to accommodate a minimum of eight consultations per week at Fidu’s full launch. We estimate each consult to take approximately one hour, although this can vary somewhat depending on the specific consult. These eight consultations must be spread across three or more days in order to accommodate the consult requests and the promised 48-hour turnaround time. Beyond those eight consultations, your schedule is up to you.
• Current PLIT (Professional Liability) insurance maintained at the specialist's own expense.
• Required to participate in scheduled consulting meetings via teleconference as they arise.

What’s in it for you?

This position offers great flexibility to be able to work part-time and still work in clinical practice simultaneously. Being a Fidu specialist is best suited for those working part-time or possessing a more flexible schedule to accommodate appointments as they arise. We will also be providing optional opportunities involving continuing education webinars, client education materials and unique content to help promote your services further. We are increasingly aware of the benefits of working from home and finding accessible, remote job opportunities. Consulting at Fidu is a way to secure a flexible career in veterinary medicine from home.

How is this different than doing online consultations on my own?

Experience:

Building a business from the ground up takes years of work and financial investment. Since Fidu’s inception, we have been perfecting the medical, technical, business, and relationship aspects of our unique niche (you can learn more about our founder’s experience here). By working directly with Fidu, you can expect to gain:

● An easy-to-use business and consulting model built on years of experience
● A team of compassionate individuals working together to deliver specialist care to pets
● The ability to work outside of the barriers encountered in a traditional practice
● A network of specialists for assistance in expertise and consultation

We know what works and what doesn’t. We are constantly evolving our approach to reflect the latest standards in veterinary science, medicine, and technology.

Joining Fidu gives you immediate access to this experienced network, along with the flexibility to create your own schedule and work from the convenience of your home.

Network:

Our team has developed a unique proprietary practice management software, FiduWare. This web-based program does everything you need to deliver remote consultations successfully:

● Manage client information
● Allow referring veterinarians and specialists to upload and share documents and medical records
● Process online payments
● Facilitate online scheduling
● Client messaging
● In-house business logistics as well as marketing and promotions
● Client education materials
● Continuing education webinars

Everything is handled within our proprietary telehealth portal - this means no outside emails, texts or calls! Most importantly, you are joining a team of respected industry pioneers. Telehealth, telemedicine, and teleconsulting are rapidly growing components of the veterinary field, and we are delighted to be at the forefront of this new wave of veterinary health.

Don’t miss this great opportunity, apply to join our team of certified Veterinary Dermatology Specialists today!

Fidu is also recruiting for veterinary nutritionists, and we will be adding other specialties in the future. So if you or anyone you know might be interested in any of these roles, feel free to share the word and send them our way. We look forward to working with you!

Our doctors are supported by an incredible group of nurses that are at the top of their fields. We feel that what sets LVS apart from other opportunities is the "family concept" that we emphasize on our team and within the hospital. Our doctors and fantastic nurses truly care, support, respect, and encourage one another as we serve our community. We feel that this "family" approach translates our passion to our clients and their pets. LVS is the only private, specialist-owned, referral hospital in Lancaster. Our non-corporate environment allows us to have a more personal touch with clients and veterinarians.

We just moved into our newly constructed state-of-the-art referral hospital March 2019! Our new hospital is fully equipped with GE 16-slice CT, digital radiology, an array of Olympus flexible digital endoscopes, rigid endoscopy, laparoscopy, and Toshiba Doppler ultrasound. LVS serves Lancaster, Pennsylvania and surrounding communities with referrals being drawn from practitioners over a very large geographical region. LVS works closely with referring veterinarians and clients to provide the highest level of specialty care. We have built a reputation for practicing unparalleled medicine while emphasizing a compassionate approach. This has led to our significant growth and the need to expand our team.

Lancaster, Pennsylvania is currently ranked by U.S. News & World Report's "Top 100 Best Places to Live in the USA". Taken directly from their article: "Lancaster, Pennsylvania, offers a balance between natural and commercial spaces that residents appreciate. Expansive farms rub elbows with manicured suburbs, which lead right into the bustling city. A short drive can take one through each of these environments. Each area boasts its own unique groups of inhabitants: farmers, families, college students and young professionals. From close-knit church communities to the indie coffee shop scene, Lancaster holds something for everyone." The New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware beaches are also short drives and common getaways during the summer.
LVS is seeking an energetic individual who is focused on the wellbeing of patients and clients while building strong relationships with the referring veterinarian. We hope that you will be the next addition to our "medical family". Generous support staff is provided. Nurses are well trained and dedicated to doctor support while providing seamless client and patient care. Our clients love our nurses as much as they do the doctors!
